Effect of water supply on seed quality development in common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris var.)

摘要: In order to determine the best developmental stage of three common bean cultivars (Talash, COS16 and Khomain) at which maximum seed quality is attained under different irrigation regimes (I1-irrigation after 60 mm, I2-irrigation 80 mm I3-irrigation 100 evaporation from class A pan), a split plot experiment (using R.C.B. design) with 3 replications was conducted in 2004 Research Farm Faculty Agriculture,Tabriz University, Tabriz, Iran. Seeds were harvested five day intervals nine stages. Analysis variance data indicated that weight, percentages viable seeds normal seedlings, seedling dry weight minimum electrical conductivity not significantly among produced conditions. However, affected by cultivars. Maximum Khomain higher than Talash COS16. The lowest highest obtained for Talash, respectively, but this between Changes during development maturity showed mass vigor I3 occurred earlier, compared other two regimes. Mass I1 I2 achieved about 1270 degree-days sowing 1210 Khomain. all 1160 sowing. some times maturity, when moisture content 16-25%. Seed treatments reduced, as harvests delayed. Therefore, pinto coulde be improved, if slightly maturity.
