摘要: Introduction The main aim of this study was to compare serum level 25- hydroxyl vitamin D [25(OH) D] between women with preeclampsia and normal individuals birth outcomes. Material Methods This cross sectional conducted on 650 primigravida in their first 24–28 weeks pregnancy. After 3 months follow-up, levels 25(OH) calcium were measured 38 (case) pregnant (control).  In addition, APGAR scores newborn parameters evaluated infants two groups. Results Preeclampsia shown about 5.84% (38 women) pregnancies. Comparison groups showed no significant differences (P> 0.05).  Also, the lower than (P<0.05). The results revealed a correlation neonatal regards gestational age, weight, length, head circumference Apgar score minute birth. Conclusion Although difference healthy wom‌en is not significant, associated preeclampsia. improved neonates control group comparison those group. This might have resulted from mothers’ different health statuses.
