摘要: Rabbits were classically conditioned using compounds of tone and light stimuli (CSs) presented with either simultaneous onsets (Experiment 1) or serial 2) in a delay conditioning paradigm. Training the compound reduced likelihood response (CR) to individual CSs (“mutual overshadowing”) but left CR timing unaltered. peaks consistently clustered around time unconditioned stimulus (US) delivery. (CSA→CSB→US) responding CSB (“temporal primacy/information effect”) this effect was prevented by prior CSB→US pairings. In both cases, training altered timing. On CSA→CSB test trials, CRs accelerated; occurred after onset well before US Conversely, on CSB– trials decelerated; distribution variable centered US. Timing at most only slightly accelerated. The results are discussed respect processes generalization spectral applicable cerebellar forebrain pathways eyeblink preparations.
