摘要: Abstract Using an antiserum which reacts with the carboxyl terminus of GRF(1–44)NH 2 , distribution immunoreactive growth hormone releasing factor (GRF) in rhesus monkey hypothalamus was delineated by peroxidase immunocytochemistry. Immunoreactive material present dense terminal fields median eminence closely associated portal capillaries but a location distinct from that noted for thyrotropin-releasing (TRH) or somatostatin. GRF-immunoreactive cell bodies were identified arcuate nucleus and ventromedial nucleus. These studies provide evidence presence primate brain demonstrate it is localized exclusively cells fibers corresponding to tuberoinfundibular system.
