摘要: Background: Lung cancer remains a major health problem due to its incidence and mortality. Receptor-binding antigen expressed on SiSo cells (RCAS1) is protein that can be in involved tumor cell escape from immune system surveillance. Aim: The aim of this study was evaluate the clinical significance immunohistochemical staining for RCAS1 non-small lung (NSCLC). Materials Methods: Tissue microarrays specimens 112 consecutive patients with newly diagnosed primary NSCLC were constructed. Ki- 67 immunohistochemistry studied through computerized image analysis. Associations between Ki-67 expression clinico-pathological variables survival analyzed. Results: higher grade III tumors (p=0.009), regardless histological type, adenocarcinomas lymphovascular invasion (p=0.014). A positive correlation levels observed (p=0.002). Moreover, there an inverse overall (hazard ratio=0.99, p<0.001) ratio=1.05, p=0.003) levels. Particularly, or had significantly shorter than those lower expression. Conclusion: could useful biomarker, indicating not only aggressiveness but also poorer prognosis NSCLC. important worldwide, approximately 1.2 million new cases every year (900,000 men 330,000 women). It most common type third women. first cause
