摘要: Abstract Regioselectivity in the anodic electrochemical oxidation of cholic acid with different anodes is described. The PbO 2 anode affords dehydrocholic quantitative yield after 22 h. 3α,12α-Dihydroxy-7-oxo-5β-cholan-24-oic (59%) and 3α-hydroxy-7,12-dioxo-5β-cholan-24-oic (51%) are obtained stopping reaction at lower time. rate OH-oxidation C 7 > 12 3 . electro-oxidation platinum foil gives selectively 7-ketocholic 40% yield. On other hand, graphite plate anode, varying conditions, produces or 3α,12α-dihydroxy-7-oxo-5β-cholan-24-oic (96%) while 3α,7α-dihydroxy-12-oxo-5β-cholan-24-oic (34%) together oxo acids.
