Developing the Tracheostomy Care Anxiety Relief Through Education and Support (T-CARES) Program.

摘要: Home care of a patient with tracheostomy after surgery for head and neck cancer requires caregivers to be comfortable handling medical equipment competent proficient completing many new complex tasks. However, the responsibility managing an artificial airway may increase caregiver anxiety, which subsequently lead improper risk complications rate readmission oncology units.
