摘要: Abstract The influence of graphite additions on the wear characteristics cast Al-Si alloys, produced by compocasting followed squeeze casting, has been assessed using a pin-on-disc test. In general, an increase in content reduces coefficient friction and temperature rise pin. At low addition levels (2 wt.%) improves resistance alloys enabling mild rate to be maintained at higher loads. However, high (8 so weakens alloy that yielding occurs severe is maintained.
