摘要: The identification and description of the chemical signals involved in aggregation bark beetles may lead to development integrated pest management strategies using synthetic pheromones. Ips sexdentatus Boern. (Col.: Scolytinae) colonizes trees Pinus genus across Europe, causing severe damage occasions. effect cis-verbenol, ipsenol, 2-methyl-3-buten-2-ol (MB) myrtenol relation major pheromonal compound ipsdienol on behaviour I. sexdentatus was studied four field bioassays. ternary blend racemic ipsdienol, cis-verbenol ipsenol consistently caught highest number beetles, resulting large standardized mean differences (dunbiased > 0.8). binary blends between also improved performance although only did it significantly. On other hand, catches were reduced (dunbiased = −0.96) when MB released along found be non-significant. a third bioassay, relative release rates studied. Although no blends, ratio 1 : 0.25 : 0.5 for respectively, scored strongest size (dunbiased = 1.17). A fourth bioassay behavioural effects significant modifications previously established findings. Myrtenol its own attracted almost individuals I. sexdentatus. High numbers beetle predators Thanasimus formicarius L. Temnochila caerulea Olivier trapped during trials. shown catch amount T. formicarius, whereas T. caerulea ipsdienol. Presented results establish as reference functional aggregative lure ready used
