摘要: In the present study, we examined effects of olanzapine on plasma levels catecholamine metabolites, brain-derived neurotrophic factor, and cytokines (interleukin-2, interleukin-6 tumor necrosis factor-alpha) using 32 olanzapine-treated schizophrenic patients age sex-matched 55 healthy individuals. Treatment with for 8 weeks improved both positive negative symptoms schizophrenia. It also increased 3-methoxy-4-hydroxyphenylglycol levels, which were associated changes in total scores measured Positive Negative Symptom Scale, decreased homovanillic acid levels. addition, treatment reduced interleukin-2 contrast, did not alter interleukin-6, or factor-alpha. These results suggest that influences dynamics interleukin-2, might be its clinical efficacy.
