摘要: Enterocytozoon bieneusi is a zoonotic fungal pathogen with high degree of host diversity that can parasitize many animals, including humans. Pigs may play an important role in the epidemiology E. as reservoir hosts. Nevertheless, genotypes pigs China remain poorly understood. The aim this study was to determine prevalence infection amongst raised on farms from four cities Hainan Province, using nested polymerase chain reaction (PCR) partial small subunit ribosomal RNA gene, and identify isolates based sequence analysis internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region. Among 188 stool samples, detected 46.8% (88/188). Eight known (EbpA, CS-4, MJ14, CHG19) novel (HNP-I - HNP-IV) were identified. Using phylogenetic analysis, EbpA, CS4, CHG19, HNP-III, HNP-IV clustered into Group 1, while remaining three (MJ14, HNP-I, HNP-II) 10. among suggests pig farming potential source human infection. Additionally, first identification 10 indicating unique epidemic features southernmost part China.
