摘要: Abstract There is newly emerging interest in an application focused approach to progress computer science and software engineering. We review the early history of that topic, both industry a professional society (the Association for Computing Machinery) find sequence events constitute steady trend away from such focus. then ask, “Is it time reevaluate this trend?” suggest some directions doing so. Special focus placed on need taxonomy domains. It noted development more meaningful taxonomies will not be easy.
