摘要: Intramuscular ketorolac 60 mg, meperidine 50 mg plus promethazine 25 and normal saline were compared in acute exacerbations of tension-type headache. Forty-one subjects (30 females 11 males) randomized into three groups evaluated by the McGill Short-Form Pain Questionnaire before treatment, 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 hours after treatment. All showed a significant treatment effect that persisted for evaluation. Ketorolac was significantly better than placebo at 0.5 1 hour Visual Analog Scale (VAS) Rating Index, 2 (by VAS). Meperidine did not differ any time point. is effective short-term
