摘要: Numerical simulation of flames is a growing field bringing important improvements to our understanding combustion. The main issues and related closures turbulent combustion modeling are reviewed. Combustion problems involve strong coupling between chemistry, transport fluid dynamics. basic properties laminar first presented along with the major tools developed for links available illuminated from generic description tools. Then, examples numerical models mean burning rates discussed premixed use direct (DNS) as research instrument illustrated occurring in combustion, gradient counter-gradient fluxes addressed. Finally, review non-premixed given.
