摘要: The five endemic species of Kozhowia Vasiljeva & Smirnov, 1969 (Branchiopoda: Anomopoda: Chydoridae) are redescribed based on material from Lake Baikal, including types all species. Two well-defined groups were found. A new genus Parakozhowia n.gen., with one species, P. baicalensis n. comb., is erected. An extended diagnosis for the presented. gen. differs in (1) antennal formula; (2) proportions postabdomen; (3) number setae exopodite IV; (4) presence soft endopodite (5) a limb VI, and (6) an inflated rostrum adult male Kozhowia. improved key discrimination given.
