摘要: The present review seeks to demonstrate the presence of an inherent biological tendency for modification form in cladoceran setae. We a comparative description setal equipment antenna I, II, maxilla each thoracic limb, carapace valves, and postabdomen. revealed significant differences between planktonic benthic species Cladocera. Also our analysis stresses great “daphniid” line (Daphniidae + Moinidae) “chydorid” (all other families) order Anomopoda. Comments on limb evolution are made, some general conclusions concerning major tendencies evolutionary transformations drawn. morphological range homologous structures different is generally wide, from undifferentiated seta either its disappearance or enlargement, heavy chitinization, specialization. Special issues, such as parallelisms, oligomerization, asymmetry, abnormalities, conjugated morphogenesis discussed. It assumed that, having been originated, if not eliminated, these modifications find adaptive use process radiation at next level – restrict niches specialized groups, just remain ecologically neutral then give rise series similar species.
