摘要: Self-efficacy and optimism are considered highly useful parameters in the context of therapeutic indication prognosis, outcome evaluation. In our study, a combined questionnaire measuring "self-efficacy" (Schwarzer u. Jerusalem 1986) "optimism" (Scheier Carver 1985) was restructured reduced length. The resulting instrument compared with its original version five different clinical samples comprising n = 726 inpatients. Factor analyses achieved bidimensionality construct as postulated by Scheier Carver, this yielding two factors "pessimism". statistical validation resulted good to optimal values. considering groups showed that certain items failed be invariably approprieted one factor. Therefore, we decided favor an item reduction, half number: 5 representing 2 for scale values no relevant deviations original, hence conclude reduction does not result loss information.
