摘要: Although it is known that Palk Bay sediments harbor diverse and novel bacteria with important ecological environmental functions, a comprehensive view of their molecular diversity still lacking. In the present study, bacterial in was characterized using method terminal-restriction fragment length polymorphisms (T-RFLP). The assemblages detected by T-RFLP analysis revealed nearshore sediment harbored high number count, whereas 2.5-m distinct composition fine heterogeneity. major groups all three samples were Actinobacteria, Bacteroidetes, Firmicutes, Proteobacteria (including alpha (α), gamma (γ), delta (δ), epsilon (e)-Proteobacteria), uncultured bacteria. This first study reveals presence (δ)- (e)-Proteobacteria, sediments. hitherto unexplored wide microbial coastal area unraveled current through culture-independent approach. These data suggest continued use cultivation-independent techniques will undoubtedly lead to discovery additional provide direct means learn more about ecophysiology biotechnological potential area.
