摘要: Closeups are used in illustrations to provide detailed views on regions of interest. They integrated into the rendering whole structure order reveal their spatial context. In this paper we present concept interactive closeups for medical reporting. Each closeup is associated with a region interest and may show single modality or desired combination available modalities using different visualization styles. Thus it becomes possible visualize multiple simultaneously support doctor-to-doctor communication basis multimodal visualizations. We discuss how compute layout 2D 3D closeups, edit configuration prepare presentation subsequent communication. Furthermore, introduce GPU-based algorithm, which allows render at frame rates. demonstrate application introduced concepts PET/CT data sets additionally co-registered MRI.
