摘要: The present area of investigation falls in the Eastern Deccan segment where available field and geochemical data are rather limited. In study, five distinctive structural zones namely Lower Vesicular zone, Colonnade Zone, Entablature Upper Zone have been identified different lava flows which helpful for purpose stratigraphic correlation. All lavas under can be classified into three distinct groups (viz. Group I, 2 3) on basis their Mg′ number TiO2 wt%. 1 marked by low No (0.39–0.45) high (2.9–3.6 wt%) while characterized moderate (0.45–0.50) (2.4–2.9 wt%). On other hand, (0.49–0.54) (1.91–2.31 characterize 3 basalts. Interestingly, basaltic corresponding to intermixed with each other; words, belonging several juxtaposed one another increasing height.
