Application of palladium- and rhodium-plating of the graphite furnace in electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry

摘要: Palladium- and Rh-plating of the graphite furnace has been evaluated as a method introducing metallic form Pd Rh for chemical modification in electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry. It is shown that by electroplating onto inner surface tube, pre-treated may resemble behaviour corresponding modifier. The resulting layer very effective inhibiting loss volatile elements (e.g., As Se), well reducing influence oxide carbide formation Si). advantage proposed procedure introduction solid modifier tubes exhibit an extended analytical lifetime determination Se, up to 80 160 firings presence Rh, respectively. In case Si Rh-plated tube could last about 100 firings.
