摘要: Hibernating animals deposit adipose tissue before hibernation to withstand long periods of reduced energy intake. Normally, adiposity is positively correlated with increased secretion from the satiety hormone, leptin. During prehibernatory phase little brown bat, Myotis lucifugus, body mass and a maximum within 12 days. Leptin in vitro plasma leptin, however, increase adiposity, then significantly decreased when increased. Basal metabolic rate (BMR) leptin was increasing. This followed by an nonshivering thermogenic capacity mass. We conclude that early phase, BMR decreases despite increasing levels, suggesting state relative resistance at time. At later stages, increases as continues decrease, becomes dissociated adiposity. Thus, M. may be achieved partly removing signal during fattening period prehibernation.
