摘要: The drift velocities of mass-identified $\mathrm{H}_{3}^{+}$ and ${\mathrm{H}}^{+}$ ions in hydrogen gas at room temperature were measured. found to be thermal equilibrium with the $\frac{E}{{p}_{0}}$ less than about 10 V/cm Torr; ions, 5 Torr. From these measurements, reduced zero-field mobilities deduced: $\mathrm{H}_{3}^{+}$, 11.1\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.6 ${\mathrm{cm}}^{2}$/V sec; ${\mathrm{H}}^{+}$, 16.0\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.8 sec. This investigation was performed a long, low-pressure tube using pulsed time-of-flight technique. arrival-time histograms presented evidence ion-molecule reactions. It is shown that reactions introduce no ambiguity ascribing above single ionic species. Only negligible fraction detected formed by three-body conversion into $\mathrm{H}_{3}^{+}$. Above an 54 Torr, disruption contributes substantially signal. reactive formation $\mathrm{H}_{5}^{+}$ from evident histograms. mobility potassium also determined, close agreement data other investigators demonstrates apparatus relatively free unknown systematic uncertainties.
