摘要: Purpose To compare retinal vessel diameters (RVDs) between open-angle glaucoma (OAG) patients with initial parafoveal scotoma (PFS) and those peripheral nasal step (PNS). Design Retrospective, cross-sectional study. Methods We enrolled 151 eyes of OAG (83 normal-tension [NTG] 68 primary [POAG]). The were categorized into the PFS PNS groups according to location visual field (VF) defect. Clinical characteristics RVD indices—central arteriolar equivalent (CRAE) central venular (CRVE)—were compared groups. Subgroup analyses conducted in NTG POAG Results Forty-six had 105 PNS. CRAE group was significantly lower than that all ( P = .001). However, neither mean deviation VF nor average nerve fiber layer thickness showed significant intergroup differences. In subgroup analysis, .013). Conversely, did not differ from .123). Conclusions Retinal diameter narrower PNS, especially group. This suggests defect may be associated vascular mechanism glaucoma.
