Electrical conductivity of the systems, (Y1−xMx)3NbO7 (M=Ca, Mg) and Y3Nb1−xMxO7 (M′=Zr and Ce)

摘要: Abstract In order to clarify a dominant factor occupying oxide-ion conductivity, electrical conductivity was measured for the fluorite-type solid–solution systems, (Y1−xMx)3NbO7 (M=Ca, Mg) and Y3(Nb1−xMx′)O7 (M′=Zr Ce) by means of ac two-probe method. A solubility limit dopant around x=0.1 each system. Activation energy conduction estimated be 117 kJ/mol Y3NbO7 decreased range 94–404 samples. The compositional change in could interpreted neither oxygen vacancy concentration nor substituted ion radius. Resultantly, it found that strongly dependent on unit cell free volume present study.
