摘要: As part of a series papers, the influence carbohydrate headgroups and aliphatic chains on mesogenic properties glycolipids was investigated. Alkyl glycosides with different types were synthesised. Neutral oxidized to their uronic acid derivatives, using well established TEMPO-oxidation. For comparison 6-deoxy-6-amino alkylglucopyranoside In addition, thermotropic lyotropic phase behaviour synthesised compounds The thermotropism characterised by polarising microscopy, lyotropism contact preparation method.
