摘要: Abstract The role of instrumentation in rock engineering is reviewed, from the measuring principles and types instrument current use, to application these techniques projects. Instruments discussed include those for monitoring movements; grounwater pressures; support pressures loads; ground vibrations. A section devoted precautions needed when planning system, selection location instruments, appropriate choice hazard warning levels contingency plans, during installation, reading, reporting results. main project are then considered turn with regard their requirements. Generalized schemes suggested tunnels, shafts underground chambers, slopes, foundations, embankments dams. Case studies given projects presently progress. text supplemented by a bibliography 93 references on instrumentation.
