摘要: The objective of the present study is to prepare directly compressible powders, containing a poorly water-soluble drug dissolved in medium-chain triglycerides (MCT), by spray drying o/w-emulsions pilot plant dryer. In addition lipid phase, emulsions contained carrier (a sugar), water-insoluble (magnesium alumino metasilicate) and combined emulsifier film-forming agent (gelatine). A factorial design was used investigate effect formulation variables on process powder properties. factors varied were soluble type (trehalose or mannitol), insoluble particle size distribution (granular fine powder) amount phase emulsion (low high). Compressibility compactibility spray-dried mainly affected content powders decreased increasing lipid. Increasing yield encapsulation efficiency whereas handling properties improved. Incorporation becoming amorphous resulted tablets with an increased mechanical strength compared crystalline carrier.
