摘要: In the dog, primary intracranial neoplasia represents ~2-5% of all cancers and is especially common in certain breeds including English French bulldogs Boxers. The most types cancer dog are meningioma, glioma, choroid plexus tumors, generally occurring middle aged to older dogs. Much work has recently been done understand characteristic imaging clinicopathologic features these tumors. gross histologic landscape tumors compare favorably their human counterparts with many similarities noted patterns, subtype, grades. Data informing underlying molecular abnormalities canine have only begun be unraveled, but reveal similar pathways mutated between neoplasia. This review will provide an overview three forms delve into comparative aspects neoplasms, introduction current standard care while also highlighting novel, experimental treatments that may help bridge gap therapies.
