摘要: Liver transplantation has become the major therapy for acute liver failure (ALF) in United States. Survival rates range from 46% to 89%. Appropriate patient selection, timely referral, and management of common complications have improved survival. Donor organ shortage may prompt further use extracorporeal support systems auxillary future. This article reviews American experience patients with ALF.
