摘要: The effects of a calcium antagonist, nimodipine, were tested on the response cerebral circulation to arterial pCO2 and blood pressure changes. reduced flow upon oedema formation extracellular ion homeostasis under nimodipine preloading studied. Both open closed skull primate models used, with alpha-chloralose anaesthesia. Nimodipine infusion increased basal in skull, but not animals. Autoregulation was little affected. Responses changes autorerulation severely imparied. Residual after middle artery occlusion significantly higher than controls. threshold levels for development cortical disturbance were, however, increased, suggesting that interferes cellular energy metabolism increases susceptibility tissue ischaemic damage.
