摘要: An ideal drug therapy for delayed cerebral vasospasm following aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage requires a detailed understanding of the fundamental biochemistry and pathophysiology this disorder. Unfortunately, key elements enigma, such as identity primary spasmogen, remain unknown. Nevertheless, advances in treatment have occurred using several basic strategies. These include removal or dissolution clot, pharmacological prevention arterial narrowing, dilation narrowed arteries (mechanically chemically), augmentation collateral flow, protection cellular homeostasis ischemic environment. Several recently developed treatments also take advantage differential characteristics vis-a-vis systemic vascular beds. Development an effective therapeutic agent must into consideration time course method delivery, its pharmacokinetics pharmacodynamics, interactions with other therapies, risk/benefit ratio.
