摘要: During the seasons 1989-1993, Valeriana officinalis plants were investigated for their contents of essential oil, valerenic acid and derivatives, valepotriates. Harvesting subterranean parts was started in August year which seeds sown, continued until last week April subsequent year. Despite marked variations from to year, maximum oil V. found September, ranging 1.2% 2.1% (v/w) based on dry weight (DW). Over vegetation periods investigated, composition remained more or less constant. Valerenic its valepotriates reached maxima February-March, with 0.7-0.9% (DW) 1.1-1.4% (DW), respectively. period 1989 - 1993, five strains order select suitable phytomedicines. The selection procedures described this paper finally yielded plant material (in 1993) a satisfactory content (0.9%) combined high derivatives (0.5%) can be harvested September sowing.
