摘要: Soluble cytokine receptors play key roles in regulating cytokine-mediated biological events by binding and modulating the activity of target ligands either an antagonistic or agonistic fashion. This Minireview will provide overview molecular mechanisms mediating generation soluble receptors, which include sheddase-mediated proteolytic cleavage cell-surface alternative gene splicing, transcription translation cytokine-binding genes, extracellular release membrane-bound within vesicles such as exosomes.
