Design and Experiment of a Power Sharing Control Circuit for Parallel Fuel Cell Modules

摘要: In this paper, a novel control circuit that can connect fuel cell (FC) modules in parallel is proposed, which particularly useful when the employed FCs have different electrical characteristics. Conventional methods (e.g., DC/DC converters) are not applicable such situations because they cannot regulate power output of each source parallel-connected topology. Consequently, uniformity requirement increases and becomes costly. contrast to existing methods, proposed method adopts power-feedback FC module under both rated conditions load changes, turn determines operating point module. Therefore, be relaxed. For proof concept, experiments two FC-like sources with I–V The experimental results indicated assignment condition had relative error < 6.62%. distribution ratio change was 7.43%.
