摘要: Abstract Laminar premixed n -butylbenzene/O 2 /Ar flames are studied at low pressure (4.0 kPa) and three equivalence ratios ( ϕ = 0.75, 1.0, 1.79) using synchrotron vacuum ultraviolet photoionization mass spectrometry (SVUV-PIMS). A detailed -butylbenzene mechanism is developed to describe the decomposition of in as well growth polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) species. The analysis results show that mainly consumed by H-atom abstraction reactions under investigated conditions. As ratio increases, contribution benzylic C bond dissociation reaction increases. Unsaturated phenylalkenes phenyldialkenes formed from fuel radicals demonstrated be main source formation indene naphthalene flames, especially lean flame. length alkyl-chain combustion alkylbenzene produces more unsaturated phenyldialkenes, which turn enhances production naphthalene, total concentration PAHs. model was further validated on diffusion flame data reported literature.
