摘要: We are interested in the signaling between axons and glia that leads to myelination maintenance of myelin internode, we have focused on role neuregulins their receptors. Neuregulins a family ligands includes heregulin, neu differentiation factor, glial growth acetylcholine receptor–inducing activity. Three signal transducing transmembrane receptors for neuregulins, which bear significant homology EGF receptor, currently known: HER2 (erbB2), HER3 (erbB3), HER4 (erbB4). found oligodendrocite–type II astrocyte (O2A) progenitor cells mature oligodendrocytes express but no HER3. Schwann little HER4. In O2A oligodendrocytes, recombinant neuregulin induces rapid tyrosine phosphorylation only is not phosphorylated oligodendrocyte lineage, physical interaction was detected coimmunoprecipitation experiments. cells, both Coimmunoprecipitation experiments indicate receptor activation results formation HER2:HER3 heterodimers. Neuregulin localized immunocytochemically present neurites cultured dorsal root ganglion neurons, it released into medium form promoted phosphorylation. therefore meet important criteria expected molecules involved axonal-glial signaling. The use unique combinations likely recruitment different pathways thus provides basis biological responses.
