Production of cyanopeptolins, anabaenopeptins, and microcystins by the harmful cyanobacteria Anabaena 90 and Microcystis PCC 7806

摘要: This study investigated the effects of light intensity, temperature, and phosphorus limitation on peptide production cyanobacteria Microcystis PCC 7806 Anabaena 90. produced two microcystin variants three cyanopeptolins, whereas 90 four variants, anabaenopeptins, anabaenopeptilides. Microcystin cyanopeptolin contents varied by a factor 2–3, anabaenopeptins anabaenopeptilides more strongly. Under limitation, rates increased with specific growth rate. The response to intensity temperature was complex: in many cases decreased We observed compensatory changes different variants: A C were accompanied 970 contents, anabaenopeptin anabaenopeptilide 90B contents. Compensatory dynamics may enable sustain stable levels variable environment.
