Lewis base binding affinities and redox properties of plutonium complexes

摘要: As part of the actinide molecular science competency development effort, initial goal this work is to synthesize and investigate several series complexes, varying by metal, ligand set, oxidation state. We are examining reactivity plutonium neptunium organometallic complexes elucidate fundamental chemical parameters metals. These reactions will be compared those known corresponding uranium in order recognize trends among elements document differences behavior.
