摘要: Objective A systematic review and meta-analysis of data from cohort studies to analyse the diagnostic performances (ie, sensitivity specificity) ultrasound (US) for diagnosis calcium pyrophosphate deposition (CPPD) disease with microscopic crystal detection used as a gold standard. Methods We performed articles published up December 2014 using EMBASE, MEDLINE Cochrane databases abstracts past two EULAR ACR annual meetings. Only reporting performance US CPPD were selected. involved inverse variance method evaluate global specificity US. Statistical heterogeneity was assessed by Cochran Q-test I 2 values. Results The search resulted in 85 11 abstracts; 17 4, respectively, selected review. total 262 patients 335 controls 4 original included meta-analysis. patterns most frequently recorded thin hyperechoic bands hyaline cartilage (8 articles); spots fibrous or tendons (7 homogeneous nodules localised bursa articular recesses (4 articles). revealed data, 87.9% (95% CI 80.9% 94.9%) 91.5% 85.5% 97.5%) random model. Conclusions This confirmed that has high may be promising tool management CPPD.
