摘要: For psoriasis therapy, topical derivatives of vitamin D3 represent a versatile option: they can be used either alone or in combination with other agents such as corticosteroids. In this two-phase parallel-group study, the naturally occurring analogue, calcitriol, was compared D analogue calcipotriol 125 patients chronic plaque-type psoriasis. The proposed treatment regimen an initial bitherapy for 2 4 weeks, clobetasol propionate 0.05% cream, super potent corticosteroid applied morning and calcitriol 3 mug/g ointment 50 evening, followed by monotherapy twice daily until endpoint week 12. Efficacy evaluations (global assessment improvement, PASI body surface area (BSA) affected) showed no significant differences between two groups at primary endpoints (week 12) any interim points. At investigator's global clinical success (psoriasis markedly improved, almost clear clear) more than 50% both 48 (79%) 56 (88%) patients, respectively group Least-square means analysis indicated to equivalent regimen. There were regards cutaneous safety incidence adverse events. present study shows that mild moderate plaque provide safe effective alternative while being administered within based on corticosteroids maintenance monotherapy.
