Intrahepatic cholestasis due to systemic mastocytosis : A case report and review of literature

摘要: A 35-yr-old female presented with symptoms of obstructive jaundice. Liver biopsy, bone marrow aspiration, and biopsy revealed systemic mastocytosis acute myeloid leukemia. The liver specimen showed infiltration mast cells within portal tracts periductal edema, irregularity interlobular duct epithelium, centrizonal cholestasis. Endoscopic retrograde cholangiography was normal. Following chemotherapy treatment idarubicin cytarabine for seven days AML, the bilirubin levels continued to increase two weeks then decreased, reaching normal in months. Infiltration leads hepatomegaly, function abnormality rarely hypertension. Intrahepatic cholestasis due has never been reported. We report a rare case causing intrahepatic that resolved remission AML following chemotherapy.
