摘要: Summary Background Long-term observational studies assessing the incidence of type I gastric carcinoid (typeIGC) in patients with chronic atrophic gastritis are few. Aim To evaluate occurrence typeIGC at diagnosis and during follow-up to identify patient features associated presence a cohort patients. Methods Three hundred sixty-seven [245 women, age 54 (18–79) years] underwent regular by gastroscopy. The was determined least 2 years (n = 214). Baseline clinical histological were analysed as factors univariate analysis. Results Type diagnosed nine (2.4%) moment when diagnosed. After 1463 person-years, six developed an annual rate (person-year) 0.4%. Patients had significantly higher levels gastrin, chromogranin A more frequently body polyps ECL-dysplasia compared without typeIGC.
