摘要: The erectile responses of 13 nondysfunctional males and 48 dysfunctional were compared during Nocturnal Penile Tumescence (NPT) exposure to erotic videotapes. results showed distinct patterns NPT daytime responding that could differentiate the various subgroups: those displaying (i) no dysfunction; (ii) vasculogenic (iii) high risk for dysfunction (organic psychogenic); (iv) psychogenic reactive erotica; (v) nonreactive erotica. Subjects participating in this study underwent a comprehensive medical psychological screening place them each subgroup. penile circumference response stimuli used conjunction with appeared useful differentiating subgroups suggested need further diagnostic refinement area. majority subjects experienced greater erection stimulation than NPT; several these achieved almost full erections waking states but practically flaccid at night. discussion covers therapeutic implications.
