摘要: Free radical generation is hypothesized to be the cause of alcohol-induced tissue injury. Using fluorescent cis-parinaric acid and TBARS, lipid peroxidation was shown increased in presence trace amounts free ferrous ion PC12 cells. This increase enhanced by ethanol a dose dependent manner also correlated with loss cell viability, as measured release lactate dehydrogenase (LDH). Resveratrol, potent antioxidant, had protective effect against death. These findings strongly suggest that ethanol-induced injury death mediated process, may important alcohol-related premature aging other degenerative diseases.
