Chiral metamaterial structures with strong optical activity and their applications

摘要: We numerically and experimentally introduce a chiral metamaterial (MTM) showing strong optical activity, dynamical circular dichroism, mechanical tunability because of its efficient design. The proposed MTM structure is composed bi-layered discontinuous cross-wire-strips, utilized in order to realize polarization rotation. It provides giant negative refractive index large chirality. also present detailed numerical analysis explain the physical interpretation designed mechanism with parametric study. Moreover, an absorber application presented show additional feature model. introduced design offers much simpler geometry more results. In addition, nihility unlike other studies literature. experimental results fabricated prototype are good agreement simulations. As result, suggested enables myriad potential applications converters, radar, military technologies.
