Individual and group performance of computerized educational tasks

摘要: This study examines the conditions under which task performance is accomplished more efficiently by a single individual or group. 116 participants, ranging in age from high school level through holders of Master's degrees, 58 women and same number men, were presented with computer game based on educational software, arranged five levels difficulty. A comparison was made speed objectives attained when performed individually divided among groups two to four partners, controlling for type coordination required. Cases expedient inexpedient division labor identified, as factors affecting feasibility, them simultaneous tasks be performed, complexity level, participants intensity required them. Basic principles, pertaining functional roles learning activities administration, are discussed.
