摘要: Microbial fuel cell and microbial electrolysis are two major types of electrochemical cells. In the present study, we governed modeling these systems by concentrating on simulation bioelectrochemical reactions in both biofilm anolyte considering effect pH growth. The cells can be described shifting bioanode surface potential boundary conditions. Model validation was performed using experimental results from MFCs fed with cheese whey wastewater then it switched to a supposed cell. applied voltage as well poising cathode anode population have been acquired. show that hydrogen production rate increases at higher potential, but influence 0.9 V much more tangible. MFC simulated different values optimize power generation. maximum output 100 Ω obtained 7.5. addition, behavior investigated strong function pH. Due growth electrogens, optimum for mixed culture electrogens same pure (pH 7.7), is alterd acetoclstic methanoges.
