摘要: The effect of the grain-shape (‘morphological’) texture a polycrystal on mechanical elastic constants and diffraction (X-ray) stress factors is investigated. To this end, Eshelby–Kroner grain interaction model originally devised for polycrystals consisting spherical grains extended to ellipsoidal morphology. Results obtained show that with their principal axes aligned along common directions (i.e. when an ideal occurs) macroscopically elastically anisotropic. Also are affected by texture; they reflect macroscopic anisotropy resulting in nonlinear so-called sin2 ψ plots. In general, can have moderate pronounced constants, depending crystal symmetry single-crystal anisotropy.
