摘要: Abstract PE- g -HEMA films prepared by the mutual gamma irradiation method were to be used as catalyst support in catalytic membrane reactors (CMR). These copolymeric showed good structural stability, even high grafted ones, with a consistent correlation between their grafting degree and crystallinity. However, it was observed that above certain radiation dose threshold, changes induced polyethylene (PE) backbone do not depend only on extend of poly(HEMA) graft but also what seems reorganization amorphous regions PE matrix. The recovery some crystallinity (up 8%) attested DSC data. FTIR analysis confirmed this observation, revealing slight increase intensity definition characteristic peak indicator crystalline PE. This process result from protective effect copolymers matrix carried out which give ability recover lost order.
